Charleston In Home Studio Maternity Session

This is so random, but I actually met this sweet mama at a playground a few months before my family and I moved to Charleston, SC. We ended up talking & our husbands do similar things and we just hit it off. Fast forward a few months later, we were visiting a church one of our very first few weeks after moving to Charleston, and low and behold Jen was sitting behind me. It was the craziest thing, but I am so thankful that God had her show up in my life when she did.

We became friends quickly- she had two sweet boys and a baby girl on the way, and my two girls got along with her boys so well. It was so nice to meet a friend so quickly after moving to Charleston- seriously such a blessing!

One thing I was super excited about when we bought our house in Charleston was that there is a perfect room to use as an in-home studio. I got my backdrop paper up, and I wanted to practice shooting in there before I started offering sessions to the public. I asked Jen if she wanted some maternity photos, and this is how this session happened.

It was so sweet for my first in-home studio session in Charleston ended up being with this sweet friend. She truly welcomed me to Charleston with open arms, so I was so happy I could give her these photos in return. I love how they turned out- her boys are so sweet and they were so excited for a little sister.
